We are Mark & Tricia Powell, a husband and wife team.

We met when we were in college at the University of Louisville, and were married a couple of years ago. We are also the proud parents of a wonderful boy named Ethan! (But he doesn't help us take pictures...yet!)

As we have said elsewhere, we are not professional photographers. We don't have any training beyond our own experience, we aren't licensed in any way, and we don't belong to any photographer's organizations. So why photography?

The main reason is because people asked us to take their pictures! In early 2009, we already had five events lined up throughout the year. We quickly realized that to keep things organized, we'd need to do something a bit more formal, and that's where the idea for Affordable Photography KY came from!
